I’ve been getting use to my new boat for the last week, it is the new Skeeter model 241SX. My other Skeeter was 8 1/2 yrs old and was an incredible boat. I could not pass up this deal. Its 9 inches longer with a allot more storage space. There so much new technology, I had to learn 2 days. I took my son out to Holiday Park the 2nd day. It is very similar to last boat except for the Yamaha 350 on the back. My son caught the first fish on the new boat, a 3 lb. Peacock Bass.

The next day I fished Flamingo with Joe Schengel and Jancie. We had a good day with Snook, Trout, Goliath Groupers, Jacks, Snappers and plenty of Ladyfish. It was a windy day, but we found some protected spots. We had great conversation and caught fish all day. They were part of West Palm Fishing Club down for a club outing.

This week’s forecast messed up a couple days of fishing. We got out on Saturday in a heavy fog in the morning and flat calm until around 2 pm. I had a plan and it worked out; we caught a handful of Snook and some Trout while working a shoreline. We heard a big blow up and saw a handful of giant Tarpon. Tarpon were really thick and we managed 3 good bites. It was getting hot and sun was straight up and fish went down so we went back to fishing the shorelines. We caught more Snook and a couple Redfish and decent Trout.
